About Kathleen Capacci

After living in the Northwest for many years, my work explores a sense of place and time in landscapes that have surrounded me. The lifespan of land exists so much longer than human time, and I want to capture that unique moment. I am continually fascinated by the organic curves and folds that envelope the environment and how color and light manifest with form. My paintings arise from dreams and places I have visited. I strive for a magical reality that shows the eternal.
